Meet The Team

Ioana is a graduate of  NAIT'S Optical Sciences & Opticianry program. As of 2024, Ioana has successfully completed her board exams and is now a licensed Optician. She brings10 years of experience, having started manufacturing quality eyewear with the largest one hour retailer. Ioana grew up in the London area and currently calls Walkerton home with her husband and furry friend Donnie. 

Hope is our newest Optometric Assistant and pre-tester. As of 2025, Hope is studying to achieve her Medical Office Assistant diploma from Bryan College of Medical Arts. Hope is eager to learn and hopeful to complete her CCOA certification in 2026. Hope grew up in Grey County and still calls it home, enjoying her new career and passion for art. 

Jessie Byers graduated from the University of Windsor with a Bachelor of Biology with Honours and Great Distinction in 2024. She began her journey with Vine Eye Care in the summer of 2024 and is currently pursuing her Doctor of Optometry degree at the University of Waterloo, with an expected graduation in 2028. You will see Jessie in our office in the summers between her years of study. Jessie is eager to learn and is incredibly enthusiastic to be joining the world of eye care. In her spare time, she enjoys running, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
