"My experience at Vine Eye Care was amazing! Being able to work with qualified professionals, the warming staff of Dr. Maureen, Jessica, Andi, Vikki and seeing the practice come to life was definitely something that I would recommend. I was able to learn great aspects of every position starting with the office administration sector, pre-testing, optician/optical tasks, seeing the doctor go through exams and determining proper diagnosis, to vision therapy. Some of my favourite experiences during my co-op was for sure the bonds I created with the staff members, but also learning about the Vision Therapy. Hearing stories about the healing of children that this therapy can do is so heart warming. I also loved helping individuals pick out their glasses, seeing them in the doctor room and their eye capability, and so much more. Overall, I would love to go back to Vine Eye Care and anyone who is debating the idea should a hundred percent take the leap!"

I was able to gain real hands-on experience in many aspects of the vision care process by sitting in on full eye exams and completing everyone’s favourite air puff test for real patients! "Vine Eye Care is an incredible place and the atmosphere is super positive and helpful. Dr. O was so informative and taught me so much. She always answered my questions and made sure I understood each of the different tests and their results. Her love for learning and kindness to all the patients is contagious. Everyone on the staff helped me learn more about the optometry profession and have hands on experience with the equipment. Dr. O and the rest of the staff are a big reason why I am pursuing optometry as a career. Thank you to everyone at Vine Eye Care for giving me such an amazing experience."

"By only spending one day at the vine eye care office I obtained an understanding of how amazing and helpful this clinic truly is. I got to meet the staff at vine eye care and each one of them were very friendly and super smart! As a teen girl who is constantly wondering what my future may look like, it was really inspiring to see mostly woman in this field. The day ran smoothly while everyone was working together and I got the feeling that this may be something I am interested in for my future career. Maureen welcomed me to join her in the observation room where she took eye tests on young children all the way to elders. This was by far my favourite part of the day, it taught me how our eyes work and how prescriptions and medication can help eye defects/diseases. Overall this was an amazing experience and helped me obtain a deeper understand of the job as an Optometrist, Ophthalmologist, and Optician."
